Sponsors, Nutrition and eSports

One of the leading eSports teams in the world is now sponsored by the global nutrition company Herbalife.

Herbalife Nutrition is now one of the Official Partners of all Gambit eSports and AS Monaco Gambit rosters, which include the games: CS:GO, Dota 2, Fortnite, VALORANT and Apex Legends teams.

The partnership has been signed for a period of 3 years with possible extension and, during these 3 years, Herbalife Nutrition’s experts will be helping Gambit players develop individual nutrition and training programmes to maintain high levels of motivation and dexterity necessary to perform during matches.

Nina Kandelaki, Vice-President and General Manager of Herbalife Nutrition stated: “This collaboration with Gambit opens the unique world of eSports with its enormous potential and rapidly growing audience of young fans. We are looking forward to working with the team to help them improve their overall nutrition by integrating personalised advice and products into the players’ lives”.

Herbalife Nutrition might be new to eSports but they have been supporting athletes around the globe for quite some time now, reaching a staggering number of more than 170 athletes, teams and sports events around the world.

Some of them you might know – Cristiano Ronaldo and Juan Guillermo Cuadrado – and events such as the Spanish La Liga and Olympic Committees in 5 countries.

Konstantin Pikiner, Sports Director of Gambit Esports commented: “Esports is growing, and so is our audience. A lot of our fans become concerned about healthy lifestyle and proper nutrition choices. I believe it is our responsibility to make efforts to promote such values in the esports community, and Herbalife Nutrition is exactly the kind of partner we need in such an endeavour.”

The world of eSports grows exponentially every year, with an estimated value of 1 billion dollars. Just like traditional professional sports, eSports teams have owners, franchises, endorsement deals, cash prizes from tournament winnings, and more contributing to their annual revenue and total valuation.
