Mindway AI has announced a partnership with Midnite, a cutting-edge betting platform, to strengthen player protection through advanced AI technology. The collaboration will see Mindway AI’s GameScanner tool integrated into Midnite’s platform. This will enable real-time detection and monitoring of at-risk gambling behaviour to try to keep up with the demands of a growing industry.

GameScanner is an AI-driven system that combines artificial intelligence with neuroscientific insights and expert analysis to identify problem gambling patterns. By implementing this technology, Midnite aims to ensure timely interventions and responsible gambling measures for its users. The program comes with a clever Analytics Dashboard where the brands will be able to access more information on their players. Midnite functions in both the esports and sports betting space, where the focus on responsible gambling compliance continues to rise among regulators and operators. During 2024s Safer Gambling Week, Midnite worked with Casino Guru to upgrade it’s self assessment tool to help provide alerts for problem behaviours.

According to the company, GameScanner’s algorithms “learn to weigh different indicators of normal as well as addictive behaviour. This gives GameScanner the unique ability to explain its decisions with clear reasons, which form an easy and sound basis for following up with players. We call this Explainable AI.”

Mindway AI CEO Rasmus Kjaergaard praised the partnership, stating, “Midnite is a forward-thinking operator dedicated to a secure and enjoyable betting experience. By integrating GameScanner, they are enhancing their responsible gaming initiatives and setting a new standard in esports and sports betting.”

Midnite has become known for its innovative approach to online wagering. The company prioritised player well-being by adopting state-of-the-art technology. George Berson, Head of Operational Compliance at Midnite, highlighted the importance of the partnership, saying, “We are constantly innovating to reduce gambling-related harm. This collaboration with Mindway AI will allow us to introduce enhanced, real-time protections and strengthen our leadership in responsible gambling compliance.”

The partnership marks a significant step forward in responsible gaming with both companies committed to industry-leading standards for player safety and ethical gambling practices. It is inevitable as time goes on that there is more of a demand for AI and its inclusion in casino security and responsible gambling measures.
