CopyBet, the innovative online platform that allows users to copy the bets of others based on their performance, has officially joined the Betting and Gaming Council (BGC). As a new member, CopyBet will now be aligned with the standards set by the BGC, which represents approximately 90% of the regulated gambling market in the UK. This membership signifies CopyBet’s commitment to adhering to the BGC’s strict Code of Conduct, ensuring a high level of responsibility and ethical business practices in the online gambling sector.

Launched in 2016, CopyBet operates under a UK Gambling Commission licence and provides users with the unique opportunity to follow and replicate the betting strategies of top-performing tipsters. The platform covers both pre-match and in-play betting markets, allowing users to make well-informed decisions based on the performance of others in real-time. Through this innovative approach, CopyBet has attracted a dedicated following, growing its presence in the market.

Anton Ivanov, CopyBet’s UK Business Development Director, expressed excitement about joining the BGC, stating, “CopyBet is pleased to announce its membership of the Betting and Gaming Council. We look forward to working with other members to help raise industry standards further and create a culture of safer betting.” This statement highlights CopyBet’s desire to play a role in raising the bar for the gambling industry, focusing on fostering safer and more responsible gambling practices.

The BGC’s Code of Conduct requires all members to commit to best practices related to responsible gambling, including player protection and ethical operations. As a BGC member, CopyBet will be held to these standards, ensuring its platform remains a safe and trustworthy environment for users. The move also strengthens the UK’s gambling framework, which aims to provide secure and transparent services to consumers while safeguarding the integrity of the industry.

In addition to joining the BGC, CopyBet has also become a member of the International Betting Integrity Association (IBIA), further reinforcing its commitment to maintaining fairness and transparency in the gambling sector. This dual membership highlights CopyBet’s ongoing efforts to be a proactive player in promoting integrity and safety within the industry.

This move comes at a time when CopyBet is making waves in the sports world, as the platform has become the official partner of Queens Park Rangers football team, appearing on the front of the team’s shirts. This partnership further solidifies CopyBet’s place as a respected player in the gambling space, both on and off the field.
